The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the largest humanitarian network in the world. Together with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and 192 National Societies, the IFRC is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The Federation's headquarters are located in Geneva, Switzerland. The National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies provide emergency aid to people in need in the event of natural disasters, armed conflicts and other emergency situations.
