The Terre des Hommes International Federation (TDHIF) is a network of nine independent national organizations working for children's rights and equitable development without discrimination. The Terre des Hommes organizations fight against malnutrition, child labour, child trafficking, sexual exploitation and abuse as child soldiers. Individual organizations also provide emergency aid in humanitarian crises and disasters around the world. Terre des Hommes was founded in 1960 by Edmond Kaiser in Lausanne, Switzerland. The national organizations are currently active in more than 65 countries.
